San Mateo Creek” 11 x 14 has been selected for the Exhibit by Frank Eber. Here’s my statement for the show:
Southern California has a lovely quality of light as the coastal marine layer begins to burn off .There is a brilliance to the mist that is the subject of this painting. Capturing the light is ,for me , the highest goal of Plein air painting , and the brilliance of watercolor the most appealing medium to paint it with.
