"Clouds Over Sullivan's Island" and "Burndale Morning" to be exhibited in the California Art Club's 105th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition

This is my sixth consecutive time exhibiting in the Gold Medal Exhibition!
I have been fortunate to have had two painting accepted all six times!
When there is time I post them all together.
This is one of the most prestigious art events on the West Coast, in one of the premier art museums in Los Angeles. It is the signature event of the CAC and there will be over 200 paintings and sculptures on view.

A note on presentation.
These exhibits are generally filled with oil paintings. I try to be respectful of the challenges of hanging a diverse exhibit of still lives, figurative and landscape subjects. For these exhibits I frame my paintings like landscape paintings, not like colored drawings and I think that helps with their appeal. Here's how the two from this year are framed:
